Well, we made it to Colorado and we're truly on a Rocky Mountain high. We're staying at the YMCA of the Rockies and it's amazing. It is so family focused and there are endless kid-friendly things to do. Today, we ate breakfast in our jammies in our cabin and then took a litte drive to warm up (we had a slight problem with the heater in our cabin - but it's fixed now), drink coffee, and check out the grounds. We ventured over to the arts and crafts center across the road and tie-dyed for the whole family.
After lunch and naps, Marigold took a pony ride.
Then after a run, we headed into Estes to enjoy the alpine slide and some pizza. After dinner, we swam in the pool here at the Y and watched the elk graze from our front porch.
Now, the girls are snug in bed and Jay and I are reading/blogging by the fire. Oh, and Jay just toasted the perfect s'more.
