6:00 a.m. weekends

This weekend, both girls woke up right around 6:00 a.m.  I hope this is not a new habit.  However, my grumpiness at being awaken before dawn on a weekend was dissipated by Marigold's sweet comments.  On Saturday morning, the first thing she said when she came into our bedroom was "Mommy, I already made my bed." On Sunday, the first thing she said was "Mommy, I love you so much."  A pretty pleasant awakening, even if at 6:00 a.m. on a weekend.
