Transitions

This week has been one with a number of transitions for Marley.  It is finally time to begin the weaning process and time to let her learn to put herself to sleep on her own (i.e., let her cry herself to sleep). She is 15 months old, so it is time (some would say high time) and she seems ready on both counts.  But I am an attachment parent, for better or worse, so it is harder on Mama than anyone.  This week, Marley drank cow's milk for the first time and went to sleep on her own.  Bittersweet.
