Marigold & Marley do the Windy City

I learned today that our kids are rather adaptable. And urban cool. With Jay at his conference all day, we did Bloomies, lunched at a sandwich shop in downtown Chicago, took a bus to Navy Pier to the Chicago Children's Museum (free with our Omaha membership), and still managed to get in two naps on schedule. Tonight with Jay, we got some Chicago pizza at Gino's and more swimming at the hotel. Marigold loves the tall buildings and pointing out the various taxi cabs on the street. She doesn't seem phased by the crowds or the honking horns. Both girls are quite occupied observing all the sights and sounds from the double stroller.

It's the home of the Cubbies and the Magnificent Mile. The home of Oprah and the Obamas. It's midwestern and hip. Maybe one of the girls will go to college here, Jay suggested tonight. It's an inexpensive and short flight away. And then we could come here all the time. At least as often as they let us.
