Today we went to the Dan Zanes concert at the Holland Center here in Omaha, a gift from my sister and family for Christmas. The girls LOVED it. We saw several friends there and Marigold ended up in the "toddler mosh pit" (kids dancing in the front row and aisles) with her best buddy from school. Which gave her buddy's mom and me quite the flash forward to the girls as teenagers jumping up and down in the front row of a concert. Marley rocked it out too, and kept pointing and clapping throughout the concert. Lots of family fun.
Now, we're home and Jay just left for Salt Lake City for a weeklong conference. Tonight we'll play at home and pause before a week - and the extra energy I'll need - without Daddy.
