Lollipop, lollipop

Today was another snow day.  This time, I was prepared with materials to make Valentines!  Marigold loved cutting out the hearts and we had the whole assembly line going, but Marley wasn't in the mood to participate.  She got a hold of a lollipop, bit off some of the wrapper, and started licking away.  At first, it was just a small opening, but it eventually got bigger.  And bigger.  And I decided, what the heck.  You do what you need to do on snow days.  And during Valentine production, when scraps and glitter and stickers are strewn across your kitchen table and your five year old is in heaven.

And that is the story of Marley's first piece of candy.
