Winter arrived here in Nebraska this weekend! It snowed all day Saturday and our neighborhood is a winter wonderland. Perfect timing for a Santa brunch and Marigold's church Christmas program. Marley was too shy to sit on the lap of the jolly old elf. But Marigold eagerly told him that she wants a Barbie for Christmas. She knows her mom is disinclined. And she's hoping Santa has more relaxed feminist ideals. I think she's probably right about that. We also had a wonderful Saturday night get-together with old Montessori friends. It was a great weekend and welcome fun following a week of strep (Marigold) and bad car news for us (Volvo - boo!).
