It's the weekend before Christmas and we've done a lot of final elfing - shopping for the last gifts on our list, wrapping presents with Christmas music after the girls went to bed, and making chex mix and other treats to deliver to friends and neighbors (an enjoyable task with the 50 degree weather we had today!).
Jay and I also stood back and admired some milestones happening around here this weekend - reading the Sunday paper/s with coffee in peace while the girls played in the basement for an extended period of time, converting Marley's crib to a toddler bed, and watching Marigold read board books to Marley.
Happiness.
