Happy Labor Day weekend! Today, we kicked off a new Husker football season in the Big Ten. We also kicked off potty training - at the suggestion of Marley's Montessori teacher who has far more years of potty training experience than we do. We have a wet laundry pile to show for the day, but several successes too ("Elmo! Elmo! Elmo! Go Potty!"). To top off the milestones around here lately, we discovered that our new kindergartener has her first loose tooth. I have a work trip at the end of the week, so this mama's hoping that Marigold wiggles it out before I leave or that the tooth stays put for a little while. I wouldn't want to miss the tooth fairy's first visit!
