Tonight Santa visited our neighbors' Christmas party and Marigold got some good face time with the jolly old elf. She was not shy. She sat on his lap and told him clearly what she wants for Christmas. Later, after the other kids had taken their turn, she went back to tell him that she would have lots of treats for him on Christmas Eve. Then, as he was leaving, she went back up to him and asked him if he was going to go up the chimney. Turned out, he left out the front door. Apparently, he had a couple more stops to make in the neighborhood and his sleigh was just down the street.
Age four and a half and Christmas is a special thing.
Yesterday was Marigold's winter program at school and tomorrow is her Christmas program at church. Tis the season!
