I think this year is going to go down as the most beautiful fall in Nebraska history. It seems like we've had top ten weather days for the past month. Compare last year when it snowed on the day Marley was born. Which robbed Nebraska of fall colors for the entire season. Of course, we didn't care because we had newborn Marley. But now that Marley is one and Marigold is four and Omaha is in full fall mode, we've been trying to soak it up. Last night, we bundled up the kids and took a spur of the moment walk to our ice cream shop in Dundee. Marley loved her first taste of ice cream. Marigold loved our crisp walk home in the dark. (Now that is is starting to get dark early, Marigold thinks we've been letting her stay up late.) And I love babies in fleece. What could be better?
